I have been using Emergen-C for over 20 years, and it would be hard to live without it. I take it daily, and also take extra ones when tired or getting ill and it works miracles. Note that its a vitamin drink, not a "Jolt" caffeine/sugar rush. It mainly vitamin C, in a gentle buffered form that gives essential minerals too, and trace amounts of B-vitamins, and other things. In this case (heart healty Black Cherry), some important new discoveries lycopene and plant oils that are proven effective for health benefits. Note that vitamins C and B are water soluable and so they pass through the body through normal processes within 6 hours, so its important to take this kind of product several times a day. However, I have found its not good to take a lot of liquid just before or after eating, so I try to take it during afternoon breaks or whatever.

I use this every day. It certainly helps ward off colds. Haven't had one in years. I add it to my orange juice each morning. Helps keep my cholesterol count in desirable range. All in all I feel Linus Pauling was right!
